About The Event
Virtual Vaishnavi Collective— Dinacharya: Exploring Ayurveda's Daily Routine with Syama Masla
Healthy habits create a healthy life. In this workshop you will learn that regularity with sleeping, eating, play and work can bring balance to every part of your day and night. Sometimes the "perfect routine" feels out of reach or that lifes just too busy to care for yourself ! Join Syama for an enlivening discussion on daily routine as suggested per Ayurveda. You will walk away feeling inspired to care for yourself on a deeper level while understanding that there is always wiggle room as life can get busy! From a balanced place you can stay calm in the midst of the highs and lows of each day.
Syama Masla was raised in a family of Bhakti Yogis and grew up around her fathers Ayurveda Health Retreat in north central Florida. She knew there was something magical about her parents' ways, but didnt know that living and sharing Yoga and Ayurveda would also become her life.
After receiving her BA in traditional eastern arts she moved to NYC where she spent almost a decade living and serving at The Bhakti Center. She along with her sister and husband directed two yoga studios in the east village (The Bhakti Center & Stanton Street Yoga) where they taught in person trainings on Yoga & Ayurveda to hundreds of students each year. She now lives in Alachua, Florida and her whole life of teaching has moved online! Teaching weekly classes + 100hr, 200hr trainings in both Yoga and Ayurveda online has opened up the "classroom" to students around the world.
